GREEN NOTE PROJECTTM

The GREEN NOTE PROJECT™is a public artwork installation, also a series of related interactive show collaborations and immersive workshops based on our mission as artrepreneurs to create illuminating experiences for and about our community. We hope to inspire people to think creatively through artistic multi-sensory engagement and experimentation, as we have through our research of the color green. We employ natural, scientific, technological and cross collaborative elements and themes throughout our project. They highlight the currency of creativity and collaboration.

Sound and light installation for SKYWAVE™by White Art Studio near the Power & Light District in Downtown Kansas City is visible from Oppenstein Brothers Park and from blocks away on the street level and also from inside. We crowd sourced vinyl wave forms at Arts KC and crowd sourced designs from the KC Crossroads District First Fridays at our Vinyl Cut event while the band, "Carswell and Hope" we're performing in the space. We converted sound waves into light waves and applied them on the windows of the Skybridge. The vinyl design was visible during the daytime, while the color changing LED lights were on display between 4:30 p.m. and 2 a.m. each day mid September to mid November.

"The GREEN NOTE PROJECTTM is supported in part by the Kansas Creative Arts Industries Commision, which receives support from the National Endowment of the Arts."
