GREEN NOTE PROJECTTM

The GREEN NOTE PROJECTTM is a public artwork installation, also a series of related interactive show collaborations and immersive workshops based on our mission as artrepreneurs to create illuminating experiences for and about our community. We hope to inspire people to think creatively through artistic multi-sensory engagement and experimentation, as we have through our research of the color green. We employ natural, scientific, technological and cross collaborative elements and themes throughout our project. They highlight the currency of creativity and collaboration.

GREEN WAVE™ is an energy efficient LED light and soundscape installation by which asks the scientific question “Can You Hear the Color Green?” with the visual form inspired by sound waves from the Kansas River projected onto the Bowersock Hydroelectric Mill for the Lawrence Arts Center Free State Festival June 26th-27th, 2015. The forms and color correspond to the architecture and function of the site and highlight the currency of creativity and collaboration in Lawrence, Kansas.

"The GREEN NOTE PROJECTTM is supported in part by the Kansas Creative Arts Industries Commision, which receives support from the National Endowment of the Arts."
