GREEN NOTE PROJECTTM

The GREEN NOTE PROJECT™is a public artwork installation, also a series of related interactive show collaborations and immersive workshops based on our mission as artrepreneurs to create illuminating experiences for and about our community. We hope to inspire people to think creatively through artistic multi-sensory engagement and experimentation, as we have through our research of the color green. We employ natural, scientific, technological and cross collaborative elements and themes throughout our project. They highlight the currency of creativity and collaboration.

Sound and light installation for CON AGUA™by White Art Studio at prominent Cuban Artist's Community Studio and Garden.
White Art Studio reimagined Arturo Montoto's fruit paintings with themes of freedom, power & restriction. Our LED lights saturated the courtyard in colors of fruit and moonlight. We were inspired by Montoto's community arts program and what he accomplished and gave back by imagining a rich future and cultivating one over and over in a changing Communist Guanabacoa, Cuba. Another creative force in the work were sound sketches we collected in Cuba, including transcultural poetry composed and read by Ernesto Garay of San Fransisco, "Dreams."

"The GREEN NOTE PROJECT™ is supported in part by the Kansas Creative Arts Industries Commision, which receives support from the National Endowment of the Arts."
